Learning Environments Workshop

Designing Learning Environments To Encourage Collaboration
– An afternoon fringe event to our Learning Environments Conference
Wednesday 15 May 2019, 13:30 – 16:00
The Herman Miller National Design Centre, Aldwych, London

This workshop takes place the afternoon before our main Design & Management of Learning Environments Conference.
Button Register NowLearning Environments’ design decisions should be based on an informed set of educational principles. After a guided set of interactive sessions, delegates at this interactive workshop will be introduced to a set of 7 guidelines for learning space design.
There will be a discursive activity about why and how we put furniture in a classroom:  delegates will be invited to consider the term ‘active learning’ and will take part in a collaborative session to discuss and design furniture and spaces for group-based learning.
Places are limited for this event. The cost to attend is just £45 + VAT (early bird rate). The workshop may be booked independently or at the same time as registering for our Design & Management of Learning Environments Conference.
